Description:

Quick-Serve Tennis is a fast-paced game used to introduce the basic play of tennis without the requirements of serving into the service box. Particular emphasis should be placed on the pace of play and the players being ready for balls put in play.

Description:

PaddleZlam has become widely accepted into Physical Education programs throughout the country. Physical education professionals have embraced the game and have quickly found ways to modify the game to encompass even the youngest of age groups. PaddleZlam is an action-packed game where 4 people, 2 teams of 2, compete with one another by hitting a pickleball into or against a plastic gaming cone. PaddleZlam is the perfect indoor/outdoor activity to create some friendly competition and to get your students to enjoy exercising again.

Title: Quadrant Ball

Description:

This activity leads up to Speedball. It uses the skill of throwing and catching while working on the concept of teamwork. The students will be separated into teams of five to six and will have a quadrant to defend. The area is coned off into a square with four quadrants. Each quadrant will have a hula hoop with four balls, one of each color inside the hoop, and a jail. The goal of the game is to get all four of your team's colored gator balls in their hoop before the rest of the other teams are able to do so (eg. The red team has all of the red balls inside the hula hoop before the yellow, blue, and purple teams).

Title: Korfball Rules

Korfball is a Dutch game that is rooted in both netball and basketball. A team game, it is played with eight players on each side, played with four females and four males. Scoring points (goals) is done by putting the ball through the opposition’s raised basket.

Korfball is a co-ed game that teaches cooperation, sportsmanship, and teamwork. This game can be used to enhance basketball skills.
