Title: Getting to Know You
Description:

The students will go on an in-school scavenger hunt to get to know the many kinds of people that make up an elementary school community. They will work in small groups and use digital cameras to take pictures of the workers they find. By completing the scavenger hunt, the students will gain a better understanding of how we are all dependent on one another in a small community.

Description:

Seesaw is an online portfolio that allows students to document their learning.  Students can use Seesaw to add artifacts throughout the year. This activity is to have students solve a word problem and explain it within Seesaw.

Title: Words, Words, Words - Spelling Practice Gone Digital With Google Drawing
Description:

Google Drawings is a tool that allows students to be creative in sharing what they know. Students will use Google Drawings to create a word cloud of words chosen by the teacher. These words will come from sight words and spelling words that follow a phonetic pattern. It is available on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

Description:

This activity will teach and or reinforce students how to format their text in a word processing program using font size, bold, underline, italics, color, and center. The activity will also introduce or reinforce inserting images.
