Type: Learning Activity

Overview:

This resource includes a two-part activity that is designed to have students reflect on their strengths and weaknesses and identify how they can help themselves and their peers build on strengths and overcome weaknesses. In the first part of the activity, students will reflect on their personal strengths and weaknesses through Padlet. The responses will then be written out on the board and the class will discuss and reflect on the responses. The second part of the activity will include group work. Students will be put into collaborative groups and asked to discuss their strengths and weakness with each other. Then, student groups will use the discussion to develop a plan to conquer each of their weaknesses. This plan will support students in the personal and collaborative goal-setting process.
