Handball can be played cooperatively or competitively. This booklet is written with a cooperative focus since it is intended for the elementary level. The United States Handball Association and local organizations host many local, state, regional, and national tournaments. There are a variety of formats including one-wall, three- wall and four-wall handball. Divisions include a wide variety of age groups (including juniors) and skill level categories.
