Overview: |
This intermediate low Spanish activity offers students an opportunity to experience regular preterit verbs in context. Students will use interpretive listening skills to gather information from an interview of a native speaker from Mexico. The vocabulary focuses on relationships as he describes how he met and proposed to his wife, providing students perspective on the idea of relationships within the target culture. Corresponding worksheets are provided to guide students as they identify preterit verbs used throughout the authentic resource. This resource offers a variety of ways for students to work with the preterit actions creating a timeline of events and writing a narrative that uses a variety of preterit clue words. |
