Overview:

Messy pirates dropped their treasure, and it’s time for the class to go on a treasure hunt. The goal is to collect as many pieces of pirate treasure as possible. In this activity, the students will use the appropriate amount of force when tapping the soccer ball with their foot in order to maintain control during the treasure hunt activity.

Physical Education PE (2019) Grade: K	K-1.11) Tap a ball forward, using inside of foot. APE accommodation suggestions: Use large playground ball; drop and catch, alternating dribble with peer or tethered ball.
Physical Education PE (2019) Grade: 1	1-1.11) Walk while tapping a ball, using alternating feet. APE accommodation suggestions: Use large playground ball; drop and catch, alternating dribble with peer or tethered ball.
