Overview:

This free resource from PE Central is a jump rope skills assessment. Students assess whether or not they can perform certain jump rope skills, and describe why or why not. The students will then create a routine based on combining two or more skills and will teach that routine to a partner.

Content Standard(s):

Physical Education PE (2019) Grade: 3	3-1.17) Jump rope using intermediate skills for both long and short ropes. Examples: a variety of tricks, running in and out of long rope APE accommodation suggestions: Place rope on ground, step over self-turned rope, provide verbal prompting.
Physical Education PE (2019) Grade: 4	4-1.17) Create and perform a jump rope sequence combining a variety of skills, using either a short or long rope. APE accommodation suggestions: Place rope on ground, step over self-turned rope, provide verbal prompting.
Physical Education PE (2019) Grade: 5	5-1.17) Create and perform a jump rope sequence combining a variety of skills with a partner, using either a short or long rope. APE accommodation suggestions: Place rope on ground, step over self-turned rope, provide verbal prompting.
