Overview:

This activity is designed for students to learn how to use a compass and reach multiple checkpoints through an activity-based scavenger hunt. This will allow students to use STEM-based practices in the physical education classroom while being active and learning skills to help them navigate using a compass.

This alignment results from the ALEX Health/PE COS Resource Alignment Summit.

Compasses (one for every student)
One demonstration compass (either large one or overhead)
Balloons
Poly spots
Direction cards
