In this activity, students will complete an online quiz using Go Formative. Students will answer varying types of assessment questions in order to demonstrate mastery of angle relationships found in regular and irregular polygons.

This activity is a digital entry ticket for students. Students will share real-life applications of polygons while completing this activity. The purpose of this activity is to develop student interest in the properties of polygons.

[MA2015] GEO (9-12) 12 :

12 ) Make formal geometric constructions with a variety of tools and methods such as compass and straightedge, string, reflective devices, paper folding, and dynamic geometric software. Constructions include copying a segment; copying an angle; bisecting a segment; bisecting an angle; constructing perpendicular lines, including the perpendicular bisector of a line segment; and constructing a line parallel to a given line through a point not on the line. [G-CO12]

In this activity, students will investigate patterns and relationships related to the interior and exterior angles of polygons.  Students will also use Geogebra to construct regular and irregular polygons.
