Example: Assess an ensemble performance using a predetermined rubric.

This learning activity uses Goldilocks and the Three Bears to demonstrate proper singing posture to students. An instructional video and student worksheet are included.

[ARTS] MUS (3) 8 :

8) Demonstrate understanding of the structure in music selected for performance.

Students will sing a well-known classroom round.  They will identify each phrase and label them with letters (A, B, C, D).  They will practice singing the phrases out of order as a class.  Students will create a new form and perform the song. Video demonstrations are provided.
