Description:

Although it has been a playground staple for decades, the origins of the game Four Square remain somewhat murky, with differing accounts of how the game started and when. Some sources date the game back to the early 1960s, while others suggest that the game began only a decade or so prior to that time.

Hoop Rally is a game that is a great lead up to 4-square or Spikeball. The objective is to continue to hit the ball into the hula hoop while attempting to prevent your opponent from being able to return it back into the hula hoop.  This learning activity can be used during a lesson in volleyball.
